EZ-Roll Series
SMC's EZ-Roll Series Track is a medium duty roll handling solution for 3500lb. (1600kg.) max weight rolls. Independent support bearings along the path of the track minimize operator effort while the light weight dolly moves seamlessly along the track path. A below-grade concrete center section also creates an EZ Load-Unload profile during loading and un-loading efforts. Dolly(s) can be easily removed from the track at any time and relocated as/if needed.

HD Series
SMC's HD Series Track is a heavy duty structural steel roll handling solution for products > 3500lb. (1600kg.). While the capacity of the system can support ultra high loads, we strongly suggest limiting the capacity of this system to product/rolls weighing no greater than 6500 lb. (2950 kg) simply due to the start and stop efforts during transport. Six(6) high capacity steel wheels on a gull-wing dolly provide the transport mechanism within an enclosed welded structure. The track/welded structure is embedded in concrete for a solid foundation and will provide years of durable service.

Roll Preparation & Stripping Stations
SMC Roll Prep Station enhance product flow, increase efficiency, and reduce debris in the production areas. Applying a prep station at the onset of the material handling system minimizes roll transport waste while allowing the operators a safe and easy method to remove the vapor barrier and any damaged product wraps or layers underneath. In addition, Prep Stations can effectively support offline roll splice pattern preparation when needed. Prep Stations can be supplied in various roll/web widths and can adapt to either EZ-Roll or HD tracks. A 3-phase electrical service will be required.
