Engineering: From the onset of the proposal, SMC engineering will work with you to meet system productivity requirements and ensure a safe working environment. We encourage an active roll with our customers maintenance and/or engineering team so that everyone fully understands and recognizes the requirements involved. We share our layouts and drawings openly and encourage discussions regarding such. Our goal is complete satisfaction from our introduction forward.

Installation: SMC equipment installation is rather straightforward and many of our customers handle the effort themselves. However, we strongly recommend that any 1st time installer of SMC equipment allow our installation crew to fully participate in the process to ensure a properly and correctly installed system. Once the concrete cures, it is there to stay. As with all of our equipment/system quotes, you will see a line item for installation efforts. Please review this closely and feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

After-Sale Service, Spares, Prints & Documentation: SMC stands ready to support our customer as questions and concerns arise. And we encourage you to contact our service department whenever assistance is needed. Should a service visit be required, we have a staff of experienced technicians ready to help.

Spares as well as replacement parts are readily available from our Midwest facility. We can also work with your maintenance staff to supply recommended spare parts lists to ensure critical parts are always on-hand in the plant. For any part requiring a replacement (warranty & non-warranty alike), please contact us for a RMA number prior to sending the part back. The RMA number allows us to track all in-house repairs as well as establishes a customer site contact to obtain additional information when needed. RMA numbers are typically obtained thru the service department. Contact via e-mail is the recommended access route.

Installation prints and assembly drawings are always available as ready reference for our customers. Simply e-mail us your request with site specific information and we would be happy to forward onto you the relevant drawing (PDF format typically sent unless noted otherwise.)
